Unless you live with one, it's easy to forget that babies dine out, too. But they're more likely to eat off the table -- literally -- than a plate. And most of us are never quite sure where the dishrag used to wipe a tabletop has been. Well, you can quit cringing. Two Broward County moms, Beth Besner and Brandy Cohen, invented Table Toppers, 15-by-24-inch disposable plastic mats available at Baby Love (8100 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, 954-741-2227). They can be used on any table to provide a clean surface for your kid. Not only will you feel more relaxed about controlling the bacteria in your baby's environment, you can bet the server, who won't have to clean mashed peas off the table, will be delighted, too.
