Good news for those of us wanting to stock up on good, craft beer for the holidays..or an imminent zombie invasion: Funky Buddha beers will be available in bottles starting December 10.
Two of the brewery's most popular beers, Hop Gun IPA ($10.99 /six-pack) and Floridian Hefeweizen ($9.99/six-pack), will be available at over 650 retail outlets major retailers throughout Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties including Total Wine, ABC Fine Wines and Spirits, and Whole Foods Market.
The beers will be sold in six-packs of 12 ounce bottles and will be distributed by Brown Distributing of West Palm Beach. The beers will be released throughout the Orlando, Tampa, and Northern Florida markets by the end of 2015.

KC Sentz, general manager and co-owner of Funky Buddha Brewery, says that making these beers available to such a wide audience is, "a huge leap in our growth as a company and a dramatic step forward for the evolution of craft beer in South Florida."
The beers will be produced and bottled at the brewery's Oakland Park facility, and is a culmination of a three-million dollar expansion that started in February, 2013 that included adding an additional 21,000 square feet of production space, infrastructure upgrades, and new equipment including a bottling line. Due to this expansion, Funky Buddha expects to create and distribute over 600,000 cases of beer throughout Florida by the end of 2016.
Although the December launch will only see bottles of Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen in store coolers, the brewery plans to release more beers in the upcoming months. In January 2015, Funky Buddha will launch Zen Session IPA, as well as a limited-release four-pack of Last Snow Porter.
In the coming months, Funky Buddha will release other seasonal four-packs including Nib Smuggler Chocolate Milk Porter, More Moro Blood Orange IPA, Blueberry Cobbler Ale, and Sweet Potato Casserole.
Since its inception in 2010 of Funky Buddha Lounge and Brewery in Boca Raton, and its more recent state-of-the-art brewery and tap room in Oakland Park, Funky Buddha's beers have won numerous awards including gold awards for its Last Snow and Maple Bacon Coffee Porter by Ratebeer.com.
