Kona Grill at CityPlace Closes its Doors
Kona Grill in CityPlace closes its doors.
Kona Grill, the Asian/Southwest fusion restaurant that invited you to become a "konavore," has closed its doors.
In a statement, Mike Nahkunst, interim president and CEO of Kona Grill, said, "Since the restaurant opened in November 2008, it has been challenged by volume and seasonality, particularly in contrast to our other highly successful locations."
The West Palm Beach locale has already been wiped off the Kona Grill website, leaving Tampa as the only location in Florida. Kona Grill has 23 other locations nationwide.
Kona Grill was known for its well-priced lunches and happy hours.
