As a countdown to the upcoming slider competition -- Sips & Sliders at Sunset hosted by Las Olas restaurant YOLO April 21, Clean Plate Charlie interviewed chefs of the participating restaurants.
Next up is YOLO, the host of the event itself. Chef Peter Boulukos tells CPC that he and his team plan to compete with the restaurant's popular meatball slider topped with herb ricotta (pictured right).
Clean Plate Charlie: The slider competition is quite exciting, has the restaurant ever competed in something like this before?
Chef Peter Boulukos of YOLO: We participated in the meatball moonlight and martinis event last year.
What is your signature or customer favorite dish?

Will the signature dish be used as inspiration for the slider used in the competition?
We will be serving our meatball slider which is on our dinner menu.
What's your "game plan" to win the esteemed title of "Fort Lauderdale's Best Slider?"
We are just trying to have a great time and raise some money for Jack and Jill.
What can we look forward to from the restaurant in the future? Any thing exciting in the works?
