Brunch. It's the best meal of the week, and not just because of the bottomless mimosas and bloody marys.

It's because so many restaurants pull out all their best deals — and most indulgent meals — for the weekend crowds. Dishes range from house-cured bacon and pork belly eggs Benedict to platters of meats and cheeses, or thick and fluffy French toast. The best part: washing it all down with a few cocktails, and all before 3 p.m.

In Boca Raton — where brunch practically equals a weekly national holiday — these middle-of-the-day meal menus offers some of the city's biggest, baddest breakfast and lunch dishes served by some of the area's most popular eateries. Watering holes like Kapow! Noodle Bar and Tap 42 pull out all the stops with rotating specials and bottomless drink bars, while others like Farmhouse Kitchen and Farmer's Table go the health-conscious route for those looking to keep it clean and lean on their day off.

Here they are, the best brunch spots in Boca Raton.

8. Farmer's Table
1901 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton. Call 561-417-5836, or visit farmerstableboca.com.
With a farm-to-table mantra, the Farmer's Table brunch menu offers a healthy way to kick off your day. Dishes rotate seasonally to highlight various legumes and fruits, but the mainstays are reason enough to visit time and time again. Highlights include breakfast burritos stuffed with free-range eggs and organic veggies, or acai bowls chock full of fresh fruit, house-made granola, and drizzled with honey. Heartier selections include quinoa meatballs or veggie burgers, and a chicken Caesar flatbread. The brunch menu doesn't offer any unlimited drink options — although an excellent bloody mary and mimosas are still available by the glass — but instead features a Garden-to-Glass cocktail or a list of (non-alcoholic) Refresh & Revive drinks.

7. Tanzy
301 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Call 561-922-6699, or visit tanzyrestaurant.com.
Served on Saturdays and Sundays, there’s only one way to describe brunch at Tanzy: delicious. This restaurant connected to iPic Theaters offers a number of brunch craft cocktails to pair with any of their dishes, and bottomless mimosas for $14 per person. Right now you can also try their Garden to Glass cocktail flight for $11, which includes a fennel gin and tonic, apple margarita, vodka-spiked strawberry lemonade, and basil rum punch. Of course, the food is equally flavorful, everything from blueberry buttermilk pancakes and a Monte Cristo smoked ham and cheese sandwich, to burricotta cheese served with pecan almond spread, hickory smoked almonds, maple glazed pecans, arugula, fresh strawberries, and a balsamic glaze.

6. Saquella Cafe
410 Via De Palmas, Boca Raton. Call 561-338-8840, or visit saquellacafe.com.
For nine years, Saquella's Cafe has been serving some of the finest fare in Boca Raton. Originally open for breakfast and lunch, the café became so popular that it expanded hours for a daily dinner service a few years back. The paninoteca section of the menu — or sandwich shop — offers a number of delectable creations, all served on homemade bread that's baked fresh daily. There are breakfast sandwiches served on fresh croissants, cheese and onions served on crispy French baguettes, and chicken and veggies on soft, pressed panini. But the best time to visit is the morning when — each day for $11.99 per person — they serve their Tuscan Sensation Brunch. That means any day of the week you and a friend can share an antipasto platter served with a variety of domestic and imported cheeses, meats, bread, butter, and jam with fresh squeezed orange juice and a personalized omelet. Need some liquor to wash all that down? They also offer bottomless bloody mary's and mimosas on the weekends.

5. Farmhouse Kitchen
399 SE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton. Call 561-826-2625, or visit farmhousekitchenboca.com.
Come the weekend, Farmhouse Kitchen is one of the best places to be when you're just not sure if you want breakfast or lunch — or a little bit of both. From 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday the restaurant serves its "brunch with a little lunch" menu, offering several breakfast dishes paired with several more lunch selections. The breakfast lovers can go meaty with steak and eggs (skirt steak, two eggs, and potato squash  hash), or sweet with banana granola French toast. Lunchers can go with a veggie burger, salmon, or the cauliflower reuben (swiss cheese, kale apple slaw, and a yogurt-based 1000 Island dressing). The bottomless deal is good for mimosas and bloody mary's, priced at $14 per person with the purchase of any entree.

4. Piñon Grill
600 Glades Road, Boca Raton. Call 561-391-7770, or visit PinonGrill.com.
At Piñon Grill in Boca Raton, one of the restaurants located at the Town Center mall, you can enjoy some weekend brunch and shopping. On Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., diners can order everything from steak eggs Benedict (two filet mignon medallions served on an English muffin with poached egg and fresh Hollandaise), to thick-cut French toast (made with buttery brioche bread that's rolled in granola and topped with fresh fruit and bacon). Down with a day of drinking, as well? Enjoy a number of specialty mimosas, including an acai, pomegranate, or ruby red grapefruit spiked option. Or you can go bottomless for $15 per person. Just don't blame the restaurant when you exit the mall a few hours later with a whole bunch of stuff you didn't need.

3. Kapow! Noodle Bar
431 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Call 561-347-7322, or visit kapownoodlebar.com.
It just doesn't get much better than brunch at Kapow! on Sunday (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) The music is loud, the food is good, and the drinks are strong — oh, that bloody mary bar. Sure, the brunch menu is small — but that's OK. What it lacks in size it makes up for it with big flavors. Try the bacon and jalapeño rangoons (they won best appetizer at BaconFest in 2013) served with chimichurri; the Captain Crunch French toast has another captain — Captain Morgan-infused maple syrup; and the Kapow! Smash is smashing good, pan-fried potato pancakes filled with cream cheese, sour cream, tomato, and scallion then served with scrambled eggs and toast. But it's the Benedict Arnold (pictured here) everyone knows best, the chef's Kapow! take on eggs Benedict: toasted challah bread topped with pulled pork, poached eggs, and a house-made Hollandaise. If you need some liquor to drown out all that food, the $15 bottomless mimosas will do, or a $5 Tito's bloody mary bar. Pick your poison, and brunch.

2. Rebel House
297 E. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton. Call 561-353-5888, or visit lifetastesbetter.com.
Maybe it's the eclectic menu, the house-cured meats and bacon, that renegade vibe, the colorful artwork, or — just maybe — it's the food and drink. Whatever it is, Rebel House has something special going on. Which means getting a table for a seat at their Wake and Bake brunch is nearly impossible. So much so they recommend you make a reservation. That's probably a good idea. Manage to squeeze in and you can order chef-owner Mike Saperstein's grilled peach salad before moving on to his Southern-style French toast with bourbon custard dipped Texas toast and caramelized peaches, and maybe add some seared foie gras to top it off if you're feeling extra fancy. Of course, Rebel House is best known for its eggs Benedict, perhaps one of their best dishes with the current Far East take: poached farm fresh eggs served over succulent pork belly, scallion pancakes, house-made kimchi, and topped with a savory Gochujang Hollandaise. Just make sure it has a side of bacon, sausage, or Canadian bacon — they're all made in-house and pretty out of this world.

1. Tap 42
5050 Town Center Circle, Boca Raton. Visit tap42.com.
During Tap 42 brunch (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday), you will have just two choices. No, not on the menu. When you get there. It's either arrive before the crowds or wait for a table to free up. Like its Fort Lauderdale sister establishment, this place fills up quickly on the weekends, and it's all thanks to Tap's amazing brunch menu. Here, unlimited mimosas aren't just glasses refilled over and over; you get a whole bottle of Champagne and a carafe of orange juice to yourself – both of which are replaced when you run out. Of course, the unlimited drinks include bloody marys or Funky Buddha Brewery Floridian on draft, if you're not the mimosa type. And with another 42 taps of craft beer behind the bar, there's certainly no running out of alcohol options here. But what about the food? You can still order burgers and salads if you like, but why when you have some pretty amazing breakfast options available only during brunch hours, like the Hangover, what turns out to be the ultimate breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, chicken apple sausage, and cheddar cheese. The Green Eggs & Ham eggs Benedict — made with Angry Orchard pulled pork, bacon cheddar toast, sunny-side-up eggs, and green chili hollandaise — is another top pick.
