Whew! What a whirlwind of events this recent pit bull craze has taken us on. Since Broward County was threatened by a possible ban on the so-called "bully breed," we here at New Times held a county-wide call to arms --err pups-- in efforts to spread awareness on science versus stigma. Our inboxes were flooded with pictures of adorable pit bulls and thank-you letters. We've got your backs, pups. May the breed live on.
