The Hukilau Founder Christie White Gives Some Background on the Event

The Hukilau is annual event that started in 2002 in Atlanta and moved to Fort Lauderdale the following year. A summertime celebration of tiki culture, from Hawaiian shirts to strong-ass rum drinks, the event has ballooned in popularity ever since. We caught up with Hukilau founder Christie White this past weekend at the Pier Top Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six.
