Slow news day, other than the U.S. Senate slapping lipstick on a pig named Bailout, so I thought I’d revert to my old standby, Sarah Palin. In the video below, John McCain argues with the Des Moines Register editorial board that Palin is qualified as all get-out to be president. But he’s missing the boat with the comparison to other governor-become-presidents: They were elected by the people during trying campaigns, not picked out by an old guy who was losing in the polls before his party’s convention.
