Authorities have arrested rapper Rick Ross after he allegedly pistol-whipped and kept an man from leaving his home. According to various reports, Ross and his bodyguard are facing kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery charges after a U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force arrested him after the two were apprehended outside Atlanta on Wednesday morning.

TMZ says the incident went down two weeks ago after Ross — whose real name is William Roberts — had a confrontation with a man who was doing work on one of the rapper’s homes.

The confrontation eventually allegedly lead to Ross hitting the man with a handgun and then not letting him leave the house.

Marshals were contacted by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department days ago to arrest Ross. Since the rapper is often on the road, marshals monitored his movement and eventually decided to go to Ross’ Georgia home on Wednesday morning to place him under arrest.
