Pagans, you live by the cycles of the moon. You celebrate the sun. And while most folks participate only in trick-or-treat matters, you know today is Samhain, the greatest sun celebration of the year. It’s the day the veil between the human and spirit worlds is the thinnest. The day the dead can return to their kin. The day to reflect — and rejoice with a Witches Ball. Wear a costume, bring your drum set for the circle, and don’t forget to stroll the lighted labyrinth. Maybe your journey through the maze will help you find the world of the sun — or at least some enlightenment would be cool. Witch’s Mark and DJ Izrafel will perform. The ball starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $15. Find Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Lauderdale at 3970 NW 21st Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-484-6734, or visit moonpathcuups.org.
