Brooklyn’s Maya Azucena makes a stop at the Bohemia Room monthly spoken word and music club tonight at 8. Maya’s soulful vocals on her latest album, Junkyard Jewel, won her much acclaim, including a nod on Soultracks.com as a nominee for “Top Female Vocalist of the Year” and Allhiphop.com’s “Best Alternative Artist of the Year.” Check out her video for “Set You Free,” off that same disc.
