The sisters are doing the holidays up right this year at Lips, with their brand spanking new Holiday Spectacular (1421 E. Oakland Park Blvd., Oakland Park). Repertoires are sprinkled with song, the already fabulous décor sparkles with holiday cheer, and the costumes … well, it seems likely that those girls will find creative new uses for tinsel.
Touted as “the ultimate in drag dining,” Lips’ menu features such numminess as Misty Eyez blackened salmon and Alexis Arquette crab crusted grouper – feel free to add a Hedda Lettuce mixed green salad on the side. Raise your glass of drag-o-rita in celebration —- it’s Lips’ one-year anniversary as well. Seatings are at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on weekends, and reservations are very highly encouraged: these bitches sell out.
