You’ve seen the commercial: Its slogan “The Delray Affair – See you there” has the sort of down home sound that makes urbane urbanites raise their noses. But it’s also got that folksy visual feel — families scarfing conch fritters and lemonade shake-ups, kiddie rides, and arts and crafts – promising three days of fabulousness. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 28 through 30, Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach transforms into one of the longest running outdoor festivals in South Florida – now in its 46th year. And for the more refined, the Delray Affair also offers a juried art show in various media. Admission is free. Visit www.delrayaffair.com.

March 29-30, 2008
