The name of the Nashville duo the LoCash Cowboys is not some clever combination or the members’ names. Rather, it’s a shortened manifesto of everything the band stands for. The group’s straight-ahead country party anthems celebrate what they’ve dubbed the “LoCash lifestyle” — in other words, joy from the free things in everyday life. “Independent Trucker” is an ode to the exhilaration of the open road, for instance, while “Here Comes the Summer” is as sunny as it sounds. Like all good country cowboys, though, they also specialize in midtempo ballads about familial and romantic love and other essential human sentiments. The act comes to the Round Up in Davie as part of an extensive tour in support of its upcoming album, This Is How We Do It.
