Located on the 500-block of Clematis St., Longboards will officially open for business starting Thursday, July 7. Until then, feast on this…Polynesian Beef Short Ribs (1/2 rack at $7 or full for $12) doused in a rich scallion and macadamia-scented bar-b-que sauce were a hit during complimentary happy hour at the grand opening celebration.
| Surf’s up! The entry: rustic-chic and surfer-friendly. A drink or dinner will feel like a trip to the beach. |
Over every booth, and above each table, look for unique artwork in the shape of surf boards painted or varnished to create a colorful centerpiece against white-washed or muted-panel planks of wood.
The road, closed off for the block part extravaganza, also featured several antique cars, including this Cadillac and a few other colorful rides.
