Smokey Bones is holding a burger-eating contest tomorrow, June 29, at all of its South Florida locations.
The contest is in two parts. Round one has entrants building their own burger to eat. Winners will advance to round two — an all-out eating competition.
The contest starts at 7 p.m. at all locations, with registration at 6:30 p.m. An entry fee of $10 includes your burgers and a $5 Smokey Bones restaurant coupon.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Homes for Our Troops, an organization that assists in building homes for disabled veterans.
Each restaurant’s winner will receive a $200 cash prize, with a $2,000 grand prize winner chosen from all 67 Smokey Bones restaurants nationwide.
