Imagine feeling the crunch of dead leaves underneath your feet, hearing sounds of animals howling as you make your way through Flamingo Garden’s “Haunted Nights,” on Friday and Saturday. It gets creepier. A swamp witch is on the loose. Although swamp witches don’t really exist (except for your bitchy boss), it doesn’t matter; Flamingo Gardens has pulled out the trickery to scare you. The haunting takes place in the garden’s West Arboretum and will feature costumed actors, animatronic props, ghouls, and freakish surprises. Leave the kids 10 and younger at home. Event is 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through October 27.
