The charity-event season is in full swing in South Florida, with the palatial grounds of Davie’s the Signature Grand playing host to several of the swankiest philanthropic parties Broward County has to offer. And with Halloween lurking around the corner, the 13th-annual Signature Grand Ghoul is set to be the premier ghoulish party of the season. The posh space will be converted into the spookiest 100,000-square-foot haunted mansion attendees have ever stepped foot in. The charity itself, 2-1-1 Broward, couldn’t be more deserving of donations too. This 24-hour comprehensive helpline offers callers suicide and crisis intervention, helps the homeless, and assists families in times of need. A commendable charity with great celebrity hosts, Signature Grand Ghoul has tapped local radio mainstay Paul Castronovo — of WBGG-FM Big 105.9’s long-running Paul and Young Ron Show — and former Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver O.J. McDuffie to emcee the festivities. Attendees will have a chance to rub elbows with other former Miami Dolphins greats while enjoying specialty cocktails and buffet dining.
This swanky spooktacular takes place on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Signature Grand, located at 6900 W. State Road 84 in Davie. Individual tickets cost $100, or two for $150. Active club 2-1-1 members can purchase tickets for $70 per person. VIP tickets are available for $200 per person. Visit 211-broward.org, or call 954-390-0493.
