The day you find yourself yelling at a bunch of kids to turn down that noise, you are officially old. Put that off a little longer by hitting up the Florida Noise Ordinance Festival from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday. The crew at Solid Sound Studio has reached far and wide to bring together a lineup of bands from the tricounty area that all specialize in one thing — being loud and proud. Musical acts from as far as West Palm Beach and South Miami will make the trek to Pompano Beach to celebrate “auditory destruction… harsh frequencies, experimental tones, and heavy sounds.” They will not be keeping the noise down.
More than a dozen acts, including Chrome Dick, Crowhurst, Xela Zaid, Mung God, and Nature Abhors Normality, will perform over the course of the night. Admission to this all-ages show is $10.
