Think of the world as a giant meatball. Mambo Italiano’s does.

The latest eatery to land on West Palm’s ever-burgeoning Clematis Street is all about the ‘ball–Italian “nachos” with mini-meatballs, meatball sliders, meatball parmigiana, meatball subs, meatball lasagna, spaghetti ‘n’ meatballs. You can even get a side order of meatballs to go with your meatballs.

Johnson & Wales grad Joseph DeRosa is the guy behind Mambo,

which aims to hit the Italian-American cuisine sweet spot with modest

prices (entrees under $20), casual ambiance and live music on weekends.

black-clad banquettes running down one side, a large bar down the other

shrimp scampi, fettucine alfredo, baked ziti, chicken cacciatore, steak

pizziola, spumoni ice cream. There’s also the “no cannoli cannoli,”

which the menu describes as “cannoli cream surrounded by cannoli shell

chips.”

Order it, if you have the balls.
