If you like the sweeping overtures and jazzy renditions of Broadway but wish there were a greatest-hits collection (because who has time to see every single show when it comes to town?), From Broadway to Hollywood is for you. This production features fantastic performances of the best showstoppers in the history of musicals on the stage and screen. Andrews Living Arts, a growing member of the Fort Lauderdale Arts District, is hosting this show to support the theater’s continued presence in the community (costumes don’t come cheap, ya know). The spectacular cast will perform classics in a style similar to a cabaret.
From Broadway to Hollywood will run this Friday through Sunday, with showtimes of 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
