If you’re seeking the award-winning burger stylings of chef Ron Kerr, you’ll be happy to know that his Bite GastroTruck has announced a semi-permanent location in Wilton Manors. We say semi-permanent because, obviously, the whole point of a food truck is the ability to go mobile.
Starting now, catch Bite GastroTruck Monday through Saturday on the southeast
corner of Andrews Avenue and Oakland Park Boulevard. The truck will set
up for lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., unless it’s
doing a special dinner event (in which case it packs up around 4:30 p.m.),
said Kerr.
Bite generally travels to the weekly roundup at Young Circle in Hollywood on Monday evenings and the monthly Seminole Hard Rock event (which is tonight from 5:30 to 10 p.m.), so check their Facebook and Twitter pages for updates.
Bite
GastroTruck’s menu features its famous burgers ($7.50 for a base
burger, with add-ons available), as well as several weekly specials and a
soup (a perfect warm-up for the cold snap we’re having). This week, try
the spicy pork noodle ($5), or the crunchy fish tacos ($4 each).
