With a double-entendre name (SX Latin Liquors) and a red-carpet grand opening gala at Vibe Ultra Music Lounge (301 E. Las Olas Blvd.), SX is going all-out for its Fort Liquordale rollout.
So far, the brand’s products are available at only a handful of restaurants and bars in Miami-Dade, but that should change soon, once Broward gets a taste of these ultrasophisticated concoctions.
First, there’s SXchachacha, described as “100% blue agave reposado tequila with the sweetness of tropical honey and the exotic bite of Mexican lemons.”
Next is SXcalypso, a blend of aged rum spiced with mint and Caribbean lemons.
Finally there’s SXsamba, a Cachaca-style sugar cane rum with hints of sweet limes and vanilla.
The party gets going at 6 p.m. and lasts till 2 in the morning, and women drink free before 10 p.m.
