With the long (and still growing) list of Winter Music Conference events happening next week, we are sure you are feeling a bit overwhelmed. It’s tough to decide where to spend your hard-earn money. Fret not! Here at Crossfade we’ve simplified things for you, as music editor Arielle Castillo and I have whittled down the list to a manageable choice of the 15 best parties. Now of course, everyone has an opinion and whatnot so what Arielle and I choose as the best, may not necessarily suit your taste. However, we have chosen the choices carefully based on lineup, price, past events, promoters, venue, and more. So we aren’t just choosing things blindly.

Jose D. Duran has been the associate web editor of Miami New Times since 2008. He’s the voice and strategist behind the publication’s eyebrow-raising Facebook and Twitter feeds. He has also been reporting on Miami’s music, entertainment, and cultural scenes since 2006, previously through sites such as MiamiNights.com and OnBeat.com.
