It’s going to be a while before anyone lets Christina Aguilera sing in public again — or, until the Grammys this weekend. Despite the fact that the gifted singer had a widely maligned off night in front of more than 100 million people, this is actually not cause for worry among her real supporters. “Even worse, the Black Eyed Peas sang their songs exactly right,” Conan O’Brien quipped yesterday.
Anyhow, TMZ has unearthed footage of Aguilera rehearsing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and aside from the fact that she pulls up right before the end, it’s a shame that this isn’t what the world got to hear on Sunday.
