Baffled by announcements that the America’s Backyard side room the Green Room is celebrating its grand opening this Friday, July 16? What was all that razzmatazz during Memorial Day Weekend with DJ Mark Leventhal (resident at Miami Ink’s South Beach club Love Hate) headlining this club-within-a-club’s spectacular opening?
According to America’s Backyard marketing manager, Craig Hammon, that previous Memorial Day bash was nothing more than a “soft opening.” Apparently changes have been made to the décor and menu and this posh spot is now ready for its legitimate unveiling. For grand opening part deux, promoters have tapped dance-floor sensation Oscar G to drop the beats.
Oscar G is a widely renowned DJ who has remixed the likes of Madonna and
Pet Shop Boys and makes regular appearances at Ministry of Sound.
