Icelandic band Sigur Rós recently commissioned a variety of directors to choose a song from its new album, Valtari and shoot a video inspired by the music. Each director was given a $10,000 budget and zero instructions or rules from the band. How’s that for artistic freedom?
Today, Israeli director, Alma Har’el released her video project for the track, “Fjögur Píanó”. Much to the public’s surprise — and our delight — the video features a naked Shia LaBeouf. Most well known for Hollywood mega-films (Transformers and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) it’s safe to say this is one of LaBeouf’s more intriguing roles to date.
