The last time you saw Keith Ballard was in November, after he accidentally slashed the head of his own goalie. The incident even earned Ballard a spot on the 2009 Dirty Dozen list.
Last night’s incident, at the BankAtlantic Center, wasn’t nearly as dangerous. But it was just as bizarre. In the video above, you’ll see Ballard catch the puck out of the air and accidentally throw it into his own goal.
You’ll notice immediately afterward, Ballard realizes what has happened. If you read his lips as he watches the big screen in the arena, he says:
“Did that go in off me? Oh, fuck me!”
Also, the Panthers lost.
