The captain of the Becker, Tom Guarino, sounded excited to get close to the Barefoot Bandit’s nefarious exploits.
“The crew and I have been very intrigued by the Barefoot Bandit; to have the opporunity to have a small part in his high-profile case is awesome! We were just finishing up a charter in the Gulf and riding out Tropical Storm Bonnie when we got the call about this job.”
So far, there’s no official word about who’ll play Guarino in the film version.
