We don’t stereotype here, OK? We think the world is a beautiful place full of people who shouldn’t be pigeonholed. But, alas, sometimes it does appear that gay men do, in fact, take better care of themselves than straight ones. So, we wondered, what motivation do they have? What gets them into the gym every day? What gets them to groom? And, voila, we found an answer: the underwear happy hour at The Stable every Tuesday night starting at 9 p.m. Tonight, everyone (but we’re guessing this affair is made up mostly of men who love men) dresses up in their skivvies (and shoes — after all, this is a bar). And what better motivation to become your best chiseled — or chubby — self than knowing you’re being scoped out by all the patrons in the bar? So, if you feel like furthering this research, head straight to 205 E. Oakland Park Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale in your underwear. Only those in undergarments receive happy hour prices, because clothed happy hour is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. No cover. Call 954-565-4506.
