Lately, most clubs and bars have been filling our ears with dubstep, house music, and cheesy techno remixes. Trying to find a good indie-rock night out around South Florida is comparable to hunting for a strand of Robert Smith’s hair in the proverbial haystack. Thankfully, someone has stepped up and brought us an evening of new wave and indie hits. Reunion Wednesdays is the common cure for the midweek blues. Doors open at 8 p.m., but you’ll probably be the only one in the place, so arriving at 11 p.m. is a better idea. The hump-day party is a regular weekly occurrence at Lost Weekend (221 Clematis St.,West Palm Beach). There is never a cover. Flip a quarter for your drinks until 1 a.m.; in-the-biz workers get $3 you-call-it specials all night. Call 561-832-3452, or visit facebook.com/LostWeekendWPB.
