We have a great suggestion regarding how you can walk off those Christmas cookies or spend all of your Hanukkah gelt: This weekend, take a stroll down downtown Fort Lauderdale’s main drag to check out the 22nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair, showcasing the works of more than 300 talented folks. More than $15 million worth of paintings, sculptures, photos, glass works, wood designs, jewelry, collages, and ceramics can be found for sale, and you can actually chat up the creators while you’re there. Prices range from $25 hand-designed earrings to $20,000 metal sculptures, but you could always just visit for the cheap eats and live music too.

Part 1 of the fair takes place on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale between SE Sixth Avenue and SE 11th Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free. Part 2 will occur the first weekend in March. Call 954-472-3755, or visit artfestival.com.
