Despite what shows like Donald Trump’s The Apprentice have you believing about businesswomen, not all power suit-wearing femmes are out for back-stabbing, bitching, and feeling the drunken effects of absolute power.
In fact a lot of women just enjoy hanging out with other professionals, and gettin’ beauty treatments. During Women Net (a networking social for women), ladies meet at a different locale monthly to dish on work — with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in hand. This month’s hotspot is GBS Beauty Store (31 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale), and tonight the XX-chromosomes will gather from 6-8 p.m. for wine, appetizers, and good company. Afterwards, enjoy free flat iron treatments, skin analysis, and mini-manis.
