Getting drunk is fine. Getting drunk in a risk-free environment while raising money for a good cause is far, far better. Enter the Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop: Pay a fee of $20 and catch a bus to nine of Fort Lauderdale’s most beloved boozeries: McSorley’s, Shooters, the Blue Martinis, the Parrot, Sandbar, Tokyo Blue, Bamboo Beach, and the 33rd Street Wine Bar. A free drink or trinket awaits you at each. Several buses run the loop, hitting each of the bars every few minutes, so you can haunt any one of them for as long as you like. Proceeds go to six of SoFla’s finest charities, including Covenant House and the Jessica June Children’s Cancer Foundation. Visit busloop.org for tickets and info, or visit the Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop on Facebook.
