Everyone has done a pub crawl; if you haven’t, you’re boring. Most people have managed to eat their way through a prix fixe meal; if not, you’re probably a philistine. Most individuals, however, have not managed to do both at the same time; if you have, it’s time to pat yourself on the back.
On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Dishcrawl is making its way to downtown Fort Lauderdale. The crawl will make the rounds to four walking-distance restaurants to sample small plates from each one. The destinations are kept secret until 48 hours before the event, when the meet-up point is revealed — all other participating spots are kept quiet until you turn up at the crawl.
