Local gardening is on the rise — or, at least, it’s being discussed all the time. To fill the space, Flagler Garden is getting ready to grow in downtown Fort Lauderdale. On Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the garden’s groundbreaking ceremony is taking place. The free event will include food and beverages, live music, speeches, a plot lottery, and more.
