Vintage, handmade goods and records! Oh my! The mini Odd Duck Bazaar
will be the perfect one-stop shop for crafty and geeky delights when
the lovely ladies from the Hollywood Craft Mafia team up with local
favorites Jezebel Vintage Clothing and Radio-Active Records on
Saturday for the Retro/Geek Show.

The event’s held at the two shops located in Fort Lauderdale’s
historic Gateway Plaza (1980 and 1930 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort
Lauderdale), and if you have a fondness for the treasures of
yesteryear, Jezebel is the place to fulfill all your kitschy needs. In
addition to its regular selection of goods, it will play host to local
artisans and crafters such as Danny Brito and Stefanie Merullo of
Polly Peachums. But the fun doesn’t stop there. If records and robots
are more your scene, the crew at Radio-Active Records will serve up an
eclectic group of vendors who cater to the geekier side of life, from
original screen-printed band posters by Iron Forge Press to a special
Yoda origami demonstration; and let’s not forget its great selection
of vinyl and CDs. The Retro/Geek show is the perfect event for ladies
and gents of all ages, runs from 3 to 9 p.m., and is free. Visit oddduckbazaar.com.

Sat., Nov. 13, 3 p.m., 2010
