Every kid wants to hunt for Easter eggs during the thoroughly macabre Christian holiday – how eggs came to be associated with Easter, though, is thought to be Pagan in origin. Why not combine one Pagan principle with another – namely, science – when the South Florida Science Museum hosts a Dino-Egg Hunt all day today. Every 30 minutes, the museum will invite youngsters into their excavation pit to dig up an actual ice-age fossil, which they’ll actually get to take home. The hunt is free with museum admission, and also includes an interactive fossil demonstration.
