Watch the wood fly and the bricks break at LaVallee’s USA Black Belt Champions, a display of mixed and extreme martial arts chopping its way into the Parker Playhouse this Saturday. The evening features everything from weapon performances to self-defense routines by first to fifth degree black belts. Recent black belt graduates celebrating their degree promotions and showing off all they have learned alongside the world-class demo team. And although the night is filled with precision performances requiring serious concentration, there will be a marshal arts comedic routine or two to help lighten the mood.
