It’s great news to have another park: Delrayians, hang out at the new grassy knoll that rests between Old School Square and NE Second Avenue called the Great Lawn. But, folks of the South, there’s even better news about this park that should get your ass to this grass: For one night only, the Great Lawn will turn into a posh, upscale nightclub for its first Cointreau Chillounge Night. Hundreds of chic daybeds, a stage, among other outdoor furnishings will cover the grounds. The club will be complete with lights, a sound system, food, and full liquor bar. Besides the Shy Figaro fashion show, there will be live music by gypsy/flamenco guitarist Nicholas Marks. In addition to dance performances, Paulo Gualano’s Brazilian Samba Parade will entertain.

Presale tickets cost $15, $20 at the door. VIP tickets cost $75 and come with complimentary food and drink. Sorry, younglings, this posh event is for the 21-and-over crowd. The night will benefit the Nat King Cole Generation Hope Inc. Call 941-448-0995, or visit chilloungenight.com.
