Antonin Dvorak was heavily influenced by the music of Native Americans and Symphony of the Americas explores this inspiration with an all Dvorak Concert. Israeli Cellist, Yehuda Hanani, joins the Symphony in presenting Dvorak’s only Cello Concerto. Hanani was brought to the United States by Leonard Bernstein and Isaac Stern at the age of 19 and studied with Leonard Rose at Juilliard.
