Then board the Growing Broward bus and learn all there is about the expanding local farm-to-table movement and efforts for food sustainability. Sponsored by Broward Food System Cooperative, a nonprofit organization supporting the building of a just, healthy, and sustainable economy around local food, the Farm to Table bus tour will board from Eucalyptus Gardens (2430 NE 13th Ave., Wilton Manors) at 3 p.m. and visit Treehuggers, Harpke Family, and Flagler Village farms where guests will devour locally sourced dishes along the way. Master farmer and cofounder of Growing Broward, Michael Madfis will lead a talk on how to grow your own thriving garden, and there will be live music by Blue Sky Drive and Jim Wuster.
