Wanderlust: a strong, innate desire to rove or travel about. A word that defines a feeling most of us hold deep in our souls but can’t act upon. Life responsibilities may hold us back, but nothing says we can’t dream. So for one night, escape from reality to get lost in the artwork and sounds being presented at “A Journey of a Thousand Destinations.” On display will be various works exhibited in a number of media, all surrounding the theme of traveling and journeys.

In addition to more than 20 featured artists, Drippy Eye Projections will provide visual stimulation with its colorful, on-the-spot creations. Music performances include the People Upstairs, Trip Don’t Fall, and Samsun. Doors open at 6 p.m., there’s a $5 cover charge, and all ages are welcome at Propaganda (6 S, J St., Lake Worth). Visit propagandalw.com.

Sat., May 21, 6 p.m., 2011
