A New Vision, a Changed World

Art is all about perspective. Whether it is the physical perspective of a landscape painting or the philosophical outlook of the artist, viewing art can reshape how you see the world. The 1310 Gallery, tucked away in Sailboat Bend, hopes to shift your perspective with the opening Saturday of its latest exhibit , "Re:Vision: See and Shift," an art collaboration and effort to provoke thoughtful dialogue and transform the way onlookers view ordinary things. The opening reception May 19 begins at 7 p.m., with no cover, and runs until 10. Spanning three floors of gallery space, the show will feature pieces by an array of artists, spoken word, live music, and fashion by Circa24. The "Re:Vision" collection will benefit Voices for Children of Broward County and will be on view through June 9. The 1310 Gallery, Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts, is located at 1310 SW Second Court in Fort Lauderdale. Call 323-205-6374.
