A TASTEful Spin on BYOB

Delray Beach’s Coffee District introduces an edited version of your college house-party BYOB every Monday night from 7 to 10 p.m. for its Beer Social event. Owner Chung’s cozy coffee-shop-by-day provides a mellow backdrop for the weekly tasting, carrying top-quality craft beers from around the world. The Monday night event is free, but the folks at the Coffee District invite everyone to bring a bottle of their favorite homemade, rare, or hard-to-find beer to taste and share with fellow enthusiasts. If you’re worried about not having a vintage or home-brewed bottle or keg lying around, don’t fret. Coffee District offers its rotating craft beer lineup and wine options, including over 100 bottled and draft selections starting at $5/glass, with staff to help narrow down the imaginably intimidating search. They also offer a menu that includes fresh salads, paninis, and hors d’oeuvres. The Coffee District is located at 325 NE Second Ave., Delray Beach. Visit mycoffeedistrict.com or call 561-455-0541. Coffee District is open Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 12 a.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Mondays, 7-10 p.m. Starts: April 30. Continues through April 29, 2012
