The Museum will host the 5,000-square-foot, traveling exhibit Brain: The World Inside Your Head. Made possible by Pfizer Inc and produced by Evergreen Exhibitions in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health, Brain: The World Inside Your Head began its run at the Smithsonian and has been touring to select cities in North America. Using innovative special effects, hands-on learning activities, video games, optical illusions and interactive displays, BRAIN shows how the brain functions and how, like other parts of the body, it can sometimes malfunction. This fascinating limited-engagement exhibit for all ages provides a hands on and up close look at the human body’s most essential and fascinating organ by exploring its development, geography and function. In the process, the exhibition makes brain-related disorders easier to understand. Sponsored locally by Leo Goodwin Foundation.
