Californication, Simon-style

This doesn’t seem to be the same place the Eagles sang about, but Neil Simon’s California Suite takes the audience into another version of a peculiar Golden State hotel. In four episodes, hotel guests encounter all sorts of oddities, best friends become anything but by the end of their vacation, and unconscious hookers abound. Witness the mayhem at the Tamarac Theatre of Performing Arts (7143 Pine Island Rd., Tamarac) at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets cost $20. Call 954-726-7898, or visit
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: May 16. Continues through June 1, 2008
