Carmina Burana

The 100 mixed voices of the Master Chorale of South Florida, led by artistic director and conductor Brett Karlin, will be performing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.This thrilling, instantly recognizable cantata, is one of the classical music's most popular and enduring works. Based on medieval poems about life, love, drinking, gaming and more-Carmina is best known for its dramatic and haunting opening movement."O Fortuna," which has served to set the ominous scene for everything from Glee, The X-Factor, and Jackass: The Movie and many more TV shows and movies, to the entrances of athletes like the Washington Redskins and the drivers at the Daytona 500.
