Color Me Happy

Lace up your sneakers. Put on a white T-shirt. And get ready to paint the town… and yourself at the race at the BB&T Center parking lot in Sunrise. This noncompetitive 3.1-mile run, benefiting the Miami Children's Hospital, is an after-dark, fluorescent glow light fun run in which participants will be covered in colored powder under UV black lights as they run and dance their way to the finish line. Endorphins will continue to rise after the run at the "Aftervibe Party," complete with a DJ and performers. Set the night aglow on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at the BB&T Center, located at 1 Panther Parkway. Check-in and packet pickup begin at 6:30. Registration is $45 to $50. All participants, regardless of age or ability, are welcome. Visit, or contact the Neon Vibe 5K support team at [email protected]
