Although John Lennon is no longer with us, imagine in his 70th year of life what he would think of the world today.
Would he still be a firm believer in promoting the message of peace and love? No doubt. Yoko Ono continues to spread Lennons mantra through a touring collection of his artwork. Friday through Sunday, "Imagine: The Artwork of John Lennon" will be on display at Delrays Old School Square Grounds (51 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach). The exhibition includes nearly 100 drawings and lyrics executed by Lennon between the years of 1964 and 1980, as well as four never before seen new releases. The grounds are open Friday, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a suggested $2 donation which benefits Old School Squares Kickin Arts and Art FUNdamentals Programs for elementary school students.
